- a seasoned traveller who worked in the tourism industry before becoming a professional translator/digital nomad and now collaborates with major organisations in the tourism industry such as Lonely Planet and luxury hotels. He has visited dozens of countries across four continents and lived, worked and volunteered in France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, and Egypt.
- a passionate polyglot who speaks eight languages.
He teaches translation on the master’s degree program at l’Université de Dijon and networking at ISIT Paris.

He also spoke at the “Entreprendre de A à Z” conference organised by Tradupreneurs and attended by 1,300 translators, while his workshop about customer relationships rapidly became a best-seller in the French translation community.
Maël attracts new customers on the strength of his skill set, before drawing on his interpersonal skills and enthusiasm to successfully convert these interactions into long-term relationships.
When he’s not working, travelling or studying a new language, Maël enjoys Muay Thai boxing and playing board games with his friends and Couchsurfing guests from all over the world.
Maël holds a master’s degree in translation and interpretation as well as a bachelor’s degree in tourism. Having travelled extensively and worked in the tourism industry, he decided to turn his passion for foreign languages into a business that helps companies go global and reach new markets. He regularly works with highly demanding customers such as Lonely Planet and boutique translation agencies.
Maël is a proud staff member of Tradiscord, a network of over 1,200 professional translators who translate from and into dozens of different languages. He is responsible for establishing and developing partnerships and events as well as moderating the community. His interpersonal skills make him a go-to person for any client looking to put together a team of reliable translators to work on a large translation project.
